Obscure..rare...cult-like. In the early 1970s, HPE Muskin CAT exploded onto the scene with tough, no-nonsense machines built for dirt, fun, and freedom. Designed during the golden age of backyard engineering and motor madness, Muskin models like the Cat Eliminator, Hustler, and Dominator were compact, rugged, and fast. Though production only lasted a few short years (roughly 1970–1974) and though information on HPE Muskin is obscure, HPE Muskin left a serious mark on the powersports world. Today, surviving CAT models are rare collectibles — prized for their vintage styling, raw simplicity, and the nostalgic thrill of a machine built purely for fun.
